As the Marketing Project Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing marketing campaigns within specific projects in order to gain spend efficiency and optimize project scale and profitability.  You are comfortable tirelessly iterating marketing campaign variables in search of additional profit and response volume.  This is a senior position with extraordinary growth potential within the organization for someone who brings intensity, impressive organizational skills, and innovation to the table.




• Works with the Marketing Ops team to confirm the scope, approach, audience, timing and deliverables. Ensures that marketing project requirements are clearly and fully documented.

• Builds a project team of subject matter experts/stakeholders within the Marketing Ops team and leads the team in the coordination of project deliverables.  Applies sound program management principles, which includes organizational change management.

• Tracks and reports progress across the portfolio of projects. Ensures on-time and on-budget delivery. Communicates and facilitates changes in creative, technology, processes and systems. Coordinates scope and schedule changes that affect the program. Attains approvals when the strategy, scope, budget (schedule) of a project changes.

• Understands current business processes, and systems and how they relate/affect Marketing campaign activities. Has a clear understanding of each of the stakeholders areas of responsibility, interdependencies, and the impact a project can have on each of the areas.

• Develops and maintains trusting, respectful, and professional relationships with internal marketing clients and stakeholders. Represents clients by helping them translate their marketing and communications strategies into marketing projects, campaigns and activities.

• Consults on the brand guidelines and message standards. Proactively monitors/updates the Marketing Program calendar. Provides close-out report, which includes lessons learned, for all major projects.

• Serves as a subject matter expert on projects, committees or task forces, as needed. Commitment to strong customer service, and able to work independently. Ability to understand and translate requestor’s marketing strategies into plans, and be able to drive project to completion.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred.

• At least seven years of experience in marketing required (mail, e-mail, TM, SEM, social, etc.)

• Five-seven-years’ experience in working with an agency, and five years business process management preferred.

• Global Marketing or Project Management experience preferred.

• Certifications/Licensing: Project Management Institute’s Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or similar certification required.

• Other Required Skills: Competency in Microsoft Office products and project planning software.
