Internal Audit Manager
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

CPA designation preferred, but not required
-
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5-8+ years).

1-2+ years of management responsibility
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated project leadership and consultancy skills with ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients
- Extensive knowledge of internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements preferably within public companies
- Thorough knowledge of Internal Audit procedures and methodologies.
- Ability to apply advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise to analysis
- Strong business acumen with an ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data
- Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity
- Demonstrated executive presence and effective presentation skills
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Ability to balance and deliver against competing demands
- Ability to learn and utilize financial systems
Management Role:
- Possible supervisory responsibility over Internal Audit staff
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
- Occasional travel to domestic site locations as needed. Occasional international travel.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.
- Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
- Moderate mobility required.
- Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
- Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
- Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
- Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
- Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups both internally & externally.
- Ability to apply basic principles to solve conceptual issues
- Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence.
